AVENGERS : AGE OF ULTRON MOVIE REVIEW

The Avengers : Age of Ultron; the biggest super hero movie of all time, is a movie directed and
written by Joss Whedon. It is based on the famous Marvel comics that most of us grew up with
and written by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The movie is a grand follow up to one of the biggest super
hero movies of all time and a much awaited action based thriller movie. The movie stars
Robert Downey Jr, as the Iron man with newer technology and immense wit. Chris Evan is the ever
so strong Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, the powerful son of Odin, Markk Ruffalo as
the huge and angry Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, and Jerry Ranner as Hawkeye.
Along with Ultron, three new characters have also been introduced in the marvel series of The Avenger.
They are the Maximoff Twins, Pietro Maximoff and Wanda Maximoff played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson
and Elizabeth Olsen. The other one is a new avenger called Vision, played by Paul Bettany. The plot
revolves around Ultron a peacekeeping program that is created by one of the Avenger’s. The problems
begin when Tony Stark tries to activate the dormant peacekeeping program. When Ultron goes out
of hand, the Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye
face their greatest challenge. They have reunite to stop Ultron, who is a terrifying villain bent on
extinguishing the human race. The fate of the planet lies completely in their hands and their mission
is to save the world. The team must work together along with some new and mysterious allies to stop
Ultron and foil his horrific plans thereby saving the planet in the action packed, gripping battle that
ensues. The plot paves the way for a nail biting, action packed epic Superhero movie. This is
breath taking action movie filled with fabulous fighting scenes of the avengers battling against
Strucker and his army of high tech soldiers, the Hulk and Iron man fighting against each other and
of course, the entire Avengers team along with Shield, the Maximoff twins and Vision fighting against
Ultron. The movie has a comical aspect as well and what makes it interesting is the comic element
that has been given to the villain. In one of the scenes, Throw tells the Ultron “There’s no need to break
anything” to which Ultron replies “Clearly, you’ve never made an omelet”. We also see Tony Stark’s
highly popular witness throughout the movie. There is a certain amount of romanticism added in
the movie. The best portions are the scenes featuring the Black Widow and The Hulk, whose civilian
alternates, Natasha Romanoff and Bruce Banner, have a complicated relationship that alternates
between pure flirty romance and refreshingly honest and revealing conversations about their respective
future in one another.
The movie is a must see for all those superhero fans who love movies where the fate of the world
lies in the hand of the superhero, in this case the superheroes. Also, it is a core in the sequel films
of the Marvel movies. If you miss this movie you may understand the sequel part but you will have
trouble connecting the dots. I would rate the movie an 8 out of a possible 10. To all those who love
fiction based ‘superheroes who save the world from the bad guys’ movies….
This is my advice….go out there and watch the movie!
