   GOD:  THE  SOURCE  OF  EVERYTHING

“ Eshwara sarva bhutam ” (GOD exists in all being)

God is an oft heard anchor for every human being. However, it is also absolutely true that no one has

ever seen him. In these days of scientific and technological advancements, people are apt to say that

God’s existence is just a myth, just a belief for weak minds to dwell upon.

God as an identity, an individual, as an item of respect or fear does not apparently exist but ,let us

understand that for those who do not believe or do not want to believe, there is no explanation to

convince. The existence or non-existence of God is purely a matter of faith.

To the non-believers I ask a simple question. Can they explain how nature itself took birth? Was it a

scientist or a technologist, who made the sun, the moon and the stars? He is seen everywhere in several

forms of nature and life in sea, on land and in the air. Who made all this? It is very obvious that there

is some creator of all that is in nature and it is this creator of nature called by man, GOD.

God is the source of everything. He prevails in every item that exists in nature. No matter how much

scientists and technologists deny the existence of God, let us not forget we are living, growing, prospering

and dying with or without his gifts of nature. I am sure no technical advancement will ever be able to

create a mountain, an ocean, a sea or a moon. They can study about them but not create them.

God created the non-rational material universe and then created man, a rational being and gave him

“dominion” over the creation. The purpose of God’s creation is to reveal him. Bulbs, their colours and

wattage may vary but the current in all of them is one and the same. Likewise names and forms of

individuals may be different but the principle of aatma that exists in all of them is same.

      God exists in every being.

A little girl singing down the street, picking up rocks to bounce in her hand, skipping the rope on her

way home. If only everyone saw the world through a child’s eyes! Only then could one relish “Life”

which is the most precious gift of God.

God has a living breath, and the name of that breath is- Man. Man has a living goal and the name of

that goal is God. Man and God are each other’s supreme necessity .Man needs God for his highest

transcendental realization and God needs man for his absolute earthly manifestation.

As Mahatma Gandhi rightly said- “ There some unknown power which governs the universe

In the analysis, we have to understand that there is certainly some power that is greater than us-give

it any name but its existence cannot be brushed aside and above all it remains a fact that God is supreme

and is source of everything. God doesn’t have to convince you of his existence, you just have to

      convince yourself.
