JURASSIC WORLD
A dinosaur theme park where the tourists come to get scared as hell ,just kidding , only some of them die (SPOILER ALERT).
Some say its good, other’s say it’s great to have a reboot, but is it really that great to surpass the premier instalment in the series?
The events described in Jurassic World are exactly 22 years after the events of Jurassic park that describes the opening of a fully functional “Jurassic Park” on Isla Nublar, Brothers Zach and Gray Mitchell are sent to visit their aunt, Claire Dearing, the park's operations manager. Claire's assistant Zara is their guide, as Claire is too busy recruiting more corporate sponsors with bigger dinosaur attractions to maintain the park's attendance. Skipping the whole technical part, as any marketing scheme is to be implemented, all its success rate lies in assuring us of its maximum profit making policy. So, in order to create something better, in this case a more attractive and enhanced level of dinosaur species, the InGen’s geneticists create Indominus rex. The story revolves around this I-rex, with Simon Masrani, the owner of the park who wants Owen Grady, the Velociraptor trainer to review the newly created beast before opening the exhibit before the public.
There are moments of joy as well as astonishment, but also there are moments of disappointment that may want the viewer to discontinue watching the movie but that is only a rare case. The whole movie itself runs smoothly, the characters playing there part as usual, while the visual effects are stunning, that enable us to explore more and more into the world of dinosaurs.
Honest review
The plot however is somewhat different from the expected one yet displays certain scenarios where anyone would say “wait a ….minute, I knew that would happen/it’s too obvious”. Well, this is not the usual way in which kids or aged would respond too but still a large part of the audience comprises of the youngsters who are eager to gain full pleasure of the thrill the movie has to offer.

The actual story displays a mother sending both her sons to explore the Jurassic park, assuming that they might be in good care of her sister who herself is so busy that she doesn’t have enough time to take care of them .This is however somewhat useful in building up a strong relationship between the brothers as well as making the sister realize the necessary. Despite the learning from the events of past that is the construction of first Jurassic park that turned into a disaster they build up a new one, wait …. not only a new one, but also running experiments to create dinosaurs with new genetic codes, as if the normal one’s weren’t capable enough to create a mess. As expected, the hybrid of T-rex (somewhat like T-rex version 2.0), the Indominus rex escapes the captivity and creates a mayhem in the park, i.e. “killing for sport “ .
Then, there’s this guy, Owen Grady who trains Velociraptors, like the alpha of the herd, who is called for reviewing the Indominus rex.
Simon wanted a creature that was to be more attractive .Well, the geneticists creating something that was way out of the necessary.So, what would you say when you look at it ?
Hey man!!! Look, this one has thermal sensors, it is intelligent enough to set decoys, it has abilities like camouflage and can convince raptors too…. What the hell were the geneticists thinking????
But, this is the point where the movie actually does justice, as the creature that is created, actually displays pretty good characteristics, in short, adds life to the film.
At one point , there’s a realization that the Jurassic park has turned more into Jurassic park”ing” as Ms Claire uses her shear knowledge from the first part to actually guide the T-rex towards the Indominus Rex. What is somewhat weird is the display of relationship like the one mentioned in transformers-“There’s a mystical bond between man and machine”, in this case, a mystical bond between man and raptors, after that, raptors and T-rex duo and finally, as the Avengers Have their own Hulk, this Duo is transformed into a Trio by the humungous Mosasauras.
If you are great fan of the series, you must go and watch it, the VFX part is top notch, the story level is not that great but still, as a reboot, it sticks to the plot pretty firmly and you will enjoy the show no matter what.
