What is etiquette?

Etiquette is a code of behavior that delineates expectations for social behavior according to contemporary conventional norms within a society, social class, or group. Proper etiquette helps you make and stand out in a competitive world.

 

 

What are the employer’s expectations?
Employer’s expectations are-

  • Employees who can be depended on.

  • Employees who are self–motivated.

  • Employees presenting a positive representation of organization.

  • Employees that will rise to the occasion.

  • Employees that are team players.

  • Employees with a positive attitude.

 

What are the things to be remembered before interview?

The following are-:

CLOTHING & APPEARANCE-

  • Clothes should be formal

  • Clothes should fit well

  • Inspect and try on your clothes the day before.

  • Bring only what you need, and keep it tidy

  • Pants and skirts should be of appropriate length.

PREPARING FOR THE INTERVIEW-

  • Visit the firm/agency’s Website and learn as much as you can.

  • Review the job description.

  • Research the relevant law.

  • Review your resume.

  • Make extra copies of your resume and writing sample.

  • Know your ethical duties.
