STYLED  BY  KANGANA

Two times national award winner Kangana Ranaut....the name is enough to change what Bollywood thinks about movies. She is the one who made it possible for a women centric movie like Queen to enter the 100crore club and which proved to be a blockbuster.

Whether it was the calm and simple Simran of Gangster or the bindaas Tanuja Trivedi of Tanu weds Manu or the bold supermodel Shonali in Fashion, Kangana has made her every performance look larger than life on the 70 mm screen.

Her fashionista personality is defined by the way she carries her attires. She is known, not for following fashion trends, but for setting her own new trend. She was the one who made floral patterns so demanding. The beauty from Shimla prefers to flaunt her natural glow and wears a light make up on most of the occasions.

On casual occasions, she prefers a short dress with chunky neckpiece and small earrings, paired with high tied buns, which makes every single lens turn towards her. Long gowns, paired with light yet long earrings and an open wavy hair-do enhance her beauty. A shimmering black short coat, teamed up with black top and black tights depicts the boldness in her nature. With this attire, wearing white studs and smoky black eye shadow gives an edge to her look.

When Kangana goes traditional, she opts for something not so gaudy yet stylish enough to leave an impression on everyone's heart. Elegance is her mantra. She adds funk to the traditional sarees by combining them with different blouses and establishes a new trend. Traditional suits too remain on her hit list. With an ankle length and deep back Anarkali Suit, Kangana prefers to keep her makeup and accessories low and allow her outfit to do the talking. She doesn’t prefer excessively heavy jewelry, instead goes for long neckpieces with small earrings. Even her no accessory look has now become a new trend amongst girls.

Be it Reel or real life, Kangana loves to experiment with her hair, her experiments largely affect her appearance. Short and curly to long and straight, high tied buns to open wavy hair, Kangana has explored each and every phase her hair could go through. She was the one who brought curls in fashion when perfectly straight hair were like a compulsory criteria for every heroine, this made her stand to out of the crowd.

The elegance and grace, with which she carries herself, make her stand apart. Ranaut had stated that her initial years in the film industry were married with difficulties as she was unprepared to be an actress. She was conscious of her poor command on the English language and struggled to "fit in". But her will to become a superstar inspired her to groom herself enough to fit in the picture and live her dreams. Maybe it was her strong will to watch her name in the end credits of a movie that she styled herself and became a trend setter for the industry by using the power of her acting skills and also by the charm of her elegant dressing and innocent eyes.
