WHAT DOES THE COLOR OF WALLS DEPICT ABOUT YOUR PERSONALITY
Got the blues? I might know why. Color affects many aspects of our personality than most of us realize. The color schemes in our surroundings effect our taste, mood, the way we think, productivity levels, and even how active we are.
Everything around us is an array of color, from the ground we walk to the sky above. Whether we are aware the fact or not, but colors are one of the most beautiful and integral part of our daily life. Have you ever realized that the color of walls at our home depicts our personality? Yes, it does.
For instance, bright color on walls portrays happiness and excitement, whereas dark color depicts sadness and gloom and, those in between trigger all kinds of activity within a person’s mind and body.
Research in this field shows throws light on the use of primary colors to paint the walls like;
Red: You are passionate and love to seek others’ attention. But the red color can cause high blood pressure problems.

If you go for secondary colors or more complex color mixtures like;

Purple: You are an honest, emotionally sensitive and most importantly a loyal person.
Blue: You are very cool inside as well as outside. It also shows how calm and nice person you are.

Yellow: You are happy and a friendly person. But you are more likely to lose your temper in yellow colored rooms.
Green: Green reminds us of nature and tranquility; therefore, you are a nature lover and are relaxed inside.

Orange: If you have orange colored walls, then you are enthusiastic, determined and jolly. It also shows you are very strong.
White: White colored walls surrounding you by your choice portray you as innocent. You are a person with pure soul. You are peace loving and quiet.

Pink: As it is universal color of love, so it depicts that you are a lover of beauty. You are loving, caring and sweet. You are confident and know your worth.
Grey: You are depressed and sad. You are lost and need a change.

Research shows that colors can cognitively influence our actions and reasoning towards certain situations in our life like-:
-
If you are always depressed and sad, try to change color on the walls of your room to blue or any light shade of green as it will keep you calm from inside and will change your mood.
-
If you feel lethargic and exerted when you enter your room, probably the reason could be the use of dull colors on the walls. Try to use pink or any shade of orange color as it will make you more enthusiastic and confident.
-
If you have regular fights at your home, the reason could be the use of yellow color. Try to change it to blue or pink.
-
If you have high blood pressure problem, use blue color as it helps in lowering the blood pressure
So in nutshell we can say that colors, when selected appropriately, symbolize and reflect our life, add up to our personality and bring joy to our life.
